Good day with Nev completing the 60k flight to Lewes and then back again.  However I climbed out by Parham but then went on a death glide behind the ridge to a climbing sailplane.  Really should of cruised upwind under the cloud before heading back on course.  Instead I did the death glide behind the ridge into a valley and paid the price for rushing on unnecessarily.  Oh well better luck tomorrow
